Melissa has been a successful small business owner since October of 1996 with her first business purchase of Everyday Travel at the age of 22. She is also the principal owner of Premier Properties Consulting, LLC which is a consulting firm that analyzes real estate deals, believing that the best way to learn and become successful in real estate is to own it rather than just studying it. Melissa and her business partner Edward B. Seidner, recently added to their business purchases LIREIA, a real estate investment association that creates deals, networking opportunities as well as ethical education in Real Estate Investing. Melissa has mentored individuals and is active in giving educational seminars how to structure and finance deals as well as teaching on various real estate topics. Her strength is in structuring deals and rehabbing distressed properties.

 

Since May of 2004 Edward and Melissa have acquired over 300 units in their portfolio and Melissa personally has been involved in over 200 real estate transactions since that time.

 

One of her recent purchases, with her partners Edward B. Seidner and Herbert Cortes (a LIREIA member) includes the acquisition of a 80 unit complex in New Albany MS which was completed in September 27 of 2007 for $1.9 and currently the value has increased to over $2.2 with the anticipation of $3 Million after 3 years.

 

 Melissa is an advocate on Long Island for emergency housing for abused victims and sober housing for those in need.  She assists those in their recovery, by providing for their housing, food and weekly house meetings.

  • General Meetings General membership meetings held 2nd Tuesday of every month at The Huntington Hilton. These monthly meetings are attended by approximately 150-200 people; both members and the general public. Each features a series of “segments” to entertain, inform, and offer networking opportunities.

  • LIHREIA The general membership meeting for the Long Island Hispanic Real Estate Investment Association, spoken in spanish, meets the last Tuesday every month at The Four Points Sheraton in Plainview.

  • Continuing Ed These events include on-site seminars & workshops as well as online webinars. Topics run the gamut from Getting Started, to Foreclosures, through Finding Money, and beyond.
